Houston WR Deontay Greenberry (concussion) day-to-day
Deontay Greenberry suffered a head injury against Louisville and must undergo concussion procedure to be cleared the game against Cincinnati.
Greenberry must undergo mandatory concussion testing after suffering the injury early in Houston's loss to Louisville. Cougars head coach Tony Levine addressed Greenberry's status on Tuesday:
Levine: We'll know more today on Deontay Greenberry. He's feeling well and is undergoing our concussion management protocol. #GoCoogs— UH Cougar Football (@UHCougarFB) November 19, 2013
Greenberry leads the team with 70 catches for 1,042 yards and nine touchdowns on the season. His development, along with the emergence of freshman quarterback John O'Korn, has helped Houston bounce back from a disappointing 5-7 finish in Levine's first year as head coach.
Houston was a contender for a share of the inaugural American Athletic Conference title before dropping back-to-back road games against UCF and Louisville. The Cougars have secured a bowl bid with their 7-3 start, but are looking to finish strong with wins against Cincinnati and SMU.
