LOOK: UCLA's new 'LA Steel' adidas uniforms for 2014
UCLA unveiled the first grey uniforms in school history with its new LA Steel alternate jersey.
UCLA has a new look to join its fan-favorite "LA Midnight" alternates (used against Washington in 2013) for the fall, as the school revealed its "LA Steel" Adidas uniforms on Wednesday.
According to the school release, "LA Steel" is the first grey uniform in school history and it boasts the latest TECHFIT technology from Adidas. UCLA says the tight-fitting gear "clings tightly to the body, making players more difficult to tackle."
Thoughts on the look? No qualms here, other than the failure to capitalize on a Zoolander-themed "Blue Steel" look.
