Louisiana-Lafayette has suspended 13 players indefinitely for what is officially being termed as the ever-vague "violation of team rules." However, it just so happens that 13 ULL players are also facing charges of felony theft after they allegedly conspired and stole belongings from another student's dorm room.

The 13 players identified are Matthew Barnes, Joe Dillon, Robert Hunt, Denarius Howard, Jarvis Jeffries, LaDarrius Kidd, Terik Miller, Damar'ren Mitchell, Trey Ragas, Simeon Thomas, Levarious Varnado, D'Aquin Withrow and Jordan Wright.

Dillon and Mitchell were among the biggest contributors to ULL's defense in 2016 -- the former led the team with seven sacks -- and Wright was the team's fourth-leading rusher as a freshman.

According the university's police department, the players conspired and snuck into Huger Hall on April 5 and took items totaling roughly $2,400 in value. Video surveillance identified the players and they were later charged with criminal conspiracy to commit felony theft.

All of the stolen items were recovered, per authorities.
