LSU guard Josh Williford's career could be in jeopardy after suffering a concussion in practice on Thursday.

According to The Advocate an LSU source said the concussion Williford suffered could be career threatening, as it's the second concussion Williford has suffered. The first happened during LSU's game against Florida last season and was so severe it caused Williford to miss the final seven games of LSU's season.

The Times-Picayune reports that Williford was unconscious for five minutes, which is just terrifying to think about.

Williford was making the change from left guard to right guard this season, and he does miss an extended period of time odds are it will be Vadal Alexander taking his place on the offensive line.
