Minnesota's Tai'yon Devers gifted us an early nominee for best hit of the week with his destruction of poor Oregon State quarterback Darell Garretson on Thursday night.

Devers came off the right side of the line, which would normally be the quarterbacks eye side, but Garretson was rolling to his left and looking left when Devers turned the corner. He was planted him with a vicious clothesline sack to force a fumble.

Garretson got lifted completely off of his feet and slammed to his back, while the ball jarred loose to set up Minnesota for its first score of the game. Devers wasn't done with Garretson, recording another sack and forced fumble in the second quarter as well.
