Marvin Wilson, the No. 1 defensive tackle in the country and No. 6 overall prospect in 2017 recruiting class, held his commitment for last.

Wilson has an admitted love of showmanship, and he held the spotlight from Bellaire, Texas, with some of the most powerful college football programs in the country waiting on his decision. LSU and Florida State were the leaders, but even Ohio State and Oklahoma were still interested as of midday Wednesday.

When it was time to announce, Wilson walked over to a duffel bag to pull out a Florida State hat and some customized garnet and gold basketball shoes with "FSU" on the side.

Wilson is 6-foot-4, 329 pounds and ready to play college football right now. The Seminoles have loads of talent on the defensive line already, but even with that depth it's going to be hard to keep Wilson from the field in 2017.

Florida State finishes the day, with Wilson, at No. 7 in the 247Sports team rankings.
