Notre Dame recruit flushes letter from Alabama down toilet
Notre Dame running back commit Elijah Wood tweeted a video of himself flushing a letter from Alabama down his toilet.
In late April, four-star running back Elijah Hood committed to Notre Dame. In early June, the 222-pound back out of Charlotte, N.C., might need a plumber.
On Tuesday night, Hood tweeted a video in which he flushed a recruiting letter that he received from Alabama down a toilet. The tweet even included the hashtag #RollToilet, which, to be honest, elicited a chuckle from yours truly.
Hood has since deleted both the tweet and the video. But this is the Internet, and nothing ever truly leaves the Internet.
As you'd expect, Hood received a lot of attention on Tuesday night for his video on Twitter, and it was only a matter of time before he sent out this tweet:
im a marked man as of now but I will say this Its an honor and an great opportunity to be a D1 athlete and I fully respect all universities— Elijah Hood (@EHood34) June 5, 2013
There's still a long way to go before national signing day, so Hood should probably get used to teams continuing to recruit him. Though, if the day ever comes when he actually does decide to de-commit from Notre Dame, I think it's safe to assume it won't be for Alabama.
