Today is July 1, the moving day for several schools in conference realignment. In New York City, the ACC is celebrating the addition of Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Notre Dame as a partial member.

The league's mascots kicked off the party with a cruise by the Statue of Liberty on Sunday, and commissioner John Swofford will hold a press conference on Monday afternoon to welcome the new members. While out on the boat, the mascots posed for several photos, including this gem from the bow. The mascots appear to have flipped Testudo the Turtle, the Maryland mascot and future Big Ten member, with the Virginia and Duke mascots holding him upside down.

While the lawyers are battling over Maryland's exit fee in court, it's nice to see that the mascots are taking care of business with good old-fashioned shakedowns.
