Houston will be wearing new uniforms when it begins play in the American Athletic Conference this fall.
Houston will play its first football game as a member of the new American Athletic Conference this fall, and when it does it will be donning some new uniforms.
The school debuted the new look on Tuesday.
"We are national program and I think with the change to the American Athletic Conference, it brings our brand East," said coach Tony Levine in a release. "With the new look and the new schools we will be playing, across the country, it will help us with our growth nationally and with our exposure in our region in which we recruit. It's a win-win across the board."
And here they are:
What do you think?
Being the football uniform critic that I am, personally, I don't have strong feelings either way. I'm not really sure how I feel about the look of the shoulders, but I don't hate them by any means. I just don't know that I really like them all that much either.
