PHOTO: Ole Miss gets creative with recruiting materials
Forget photoshopped magazine covers, Ole Miss has a clever new way to woo recruits.
There's really no shortage of ways that schools will try to convince a recruit to give their commitment, and as of late the rage seems to be photoshopped magazine covers. Some come complete with errors and everything.
And then there's what Ole Miss sent five-star defensive end CeCe Jefferson. Check it out.
See, now that's pretty cool. It not only gets the point across, but it's also creative. I don't know how it'll work in concert with the mind of a 17-year old high school kid, but I know that for this 33-year old college football writer it's rather effective.
Just send me one, Ole Miss, and you'll get a quick commit. Of course, I don't have any eligibility left, and I'll spend my entire time on campus hanging out on The Grove, but I still think you're getting a good deal here.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: All you have to do to get a scholarship is ask, you guys.
Looking forward to tackling Nick Saban on a sideline some day.
