PHOTO: UConn forgot UCF was in the American Athletic Conference
UConn left out Central Florida in a graphic for the new American Athletic Conference on its official website.
That's a graphic that welcomed visitors to uconnhuskies.com Monday, the official first day of the new American Athletic Conference, but if you look closely you'll notice that there's one school missing. Yep, that's right, Connecticut forgot that UCF was also a member of it's new/old conference.
Listen, UConn, I get it. You're not alone here. So many schools have changed conferences in the last few years that it's darn near impossible to remember who is where at all times. I know I've had trouble with it at times, and today's the first day. You can't be expected to remember the names of everybody else in your class on the first day of school, can you? Of course not. You need to get to know them. Find out what they're about. Decide whether you like them or not.
And then, and only then, can you remember their name.
Oh, and correcting the error is a good start too, so you're already halfway there.
