PHOTO: Under Armour reveals 'Freedom Jersey' uniforms for Boston College, Hawaii
Boston College and Hawaii will wear special Under Armour uniforms this season to promote the Wounded Warrior Project.
Via Complex.com, Under Armour has unveiled the two stars-and-stripes-themed "Freedom Jersey" uniforms to be worn by Boston College and Hawaii this season that will promote and benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Have a look:
The Eagles will wear their uniforms against Maryland on Oct. 27, while Hawaii will don its against UNLV Nov. 24.
The jerseys will be auctioned off after each game, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the WWP, which seeks to "raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of injured service members" and "help injured service members aid and assist each other" via a number of programs.
This is the fourth year of the "Freedom Jersey" collaboration between Under Armour and the WWP.
