PHOTOS: Illinois wears special helmets to honor military
The Illini have been predictably outclassed by Ohio State on the field, but at least their helmets look sharp.
No, Illinois does not look good against Ohio State, what with the Buckeyes hungry to impress the BCS pollsters and leading 21-0 in Champign at the end of the first quarter.
But at least the Illini's helmets look good. Their special logo for the game honors the military, spelling out "I" inside a silhouette of the state of Illinois using 10 stars -- one for each Illini football player who has died in combat. Josh Ferguson models it in action:

So at least the Illini have that going for them.
