PHOTOS, VIDEO: South Carolina to wear camouflage-style "Battle" uniforms vs. LSU
South Carolina will wear a special set of Under Armour-designed alternate uniforms when the Gamecocks take on LSU Saturday.
It's time for yet another set of alternate uniforms, and once again it's the good folks at Under Armour designing them, this time for their clients at South Carolina. Fresh off their 35-7 beatdown of Georgia, the Gamecocks announced Monday evening they'll head to Baton Rouge for this week's showdown with LSU wearing a special set of customized "Battle" uniforms.
Via official site GamecocksOnline, have a look, in both video and photo form:
There's also several more photos on the Gamecocks' Flickr page. Aside from the camouflage incorporating the palmetto tree and moon from the South Carolina state flag -- a nice, subtle touch if you're going the not-at-all-subtle camouflage route in the first place -- it's not our cup of tea; the pants just don't look like football pants, do they?
But of course, it's always the players' opinions that count infinitely more than ours, and it's safe to say Gamecock D.J. Swearinger is a fan:
