Ann Arbor police have released a video showing a man they identify as Michigan sophomore wide receiver C'sonte York punch a victim in the jaw.
mlive.com reported Tuesday that Ann Arbor police have released a video of a man they identify as Michigan wide receiver Csont'e York punching a victim in the jaw outside the Ann Arbor bar Scorekeepers.
According to the police report, the man's jaw was broken in three places. York was suspended indefinitely by coach Brady Hoke for "failing to meet team standards" earlier this month, and per mlive.com will be charged Aug. 22 with aggravated assault and two counts of assault and battery.
According to the police report, York -- wearing a fishing cap in the video above -- and teammate Damario Jones told police the confrontation between York and the victim began when York believed the man had intentionally bumped into him and Jones. A witness told police that the victim had been "jaw-jacking" with York before the punch was thrown.
A former three-star recruit from Harper Woods, Mich., York did not catch a pass during his freshman season in 2013.
