Report: Baylor WR Robbie Rhodes off team after 'another mistake'
Baylor wide receiver Robbie Rhodes was arrested in May at a traffic stop but reportedly dismissed for an another undisclosed reason.
Bayor wide receiver Robbie Rhodes has been dismissed from the program, according to his father and multiple reports.
Rhodes was arrested in May at a traffic stop in Waco and initially charged with marijuana possession, though authorities reportedly declined to pursue that misdemeanor charge. However, Rhodes' father told ESPN.com on Monday that the former five-star prospect from Fort Worth "made another mistake" that resulted in his dismissal.
Though Rhodes was not charged, his father said he was disciplined by the school and his latest incident, which he would not disclose, violated conditions of an agreement he'd made to remain a member of the team.
"He was in agreement on sanctions that they made with him, and he broke the agreement," Reggie Rhodes said.
ESPN Radio's David Smoak reported a confirmation from Briles, who would not elaborate on the reasons for Rhodes' dismissal.

Rhodes battled injuries during his freshman season and finished the year with 10 catches for 157 yards.
