Royal Purple is new sponsor of Las Vegas Bowl
The Las Vegas Bowl will be sponsored by Royal Purple for the next three years.
We have important bowl game sponsorship news! The Las Vegas Bowl has a new sponsor and has been rebranded as the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl. New name, same Vegas flavor!
“Today marks a wonderful new alignment between our bowl, our city and Royal Purple,” said the bowl's executive director, Dan Hanneke, in a release. "Our event will only continue to grow with the addition of a great title sponsor and we can’t wait for the 22nd edition of the game, which is now just three months away.”
I know, I'm pretty excited about it all too.
If you're wondering what Royal Purple is, well luckily the release was kind enough to include that information. According to the release Royal Purple is a Texas company that "produces a wide range of high performance lubricants for nearly every consumer and industrial application."
And let me assure you that there are oh so many jokes I could write about "high performance lubricants" and Las Vegas, but I'd like to keep my job, so I won't.
Oh, and also because they're motor oil products. Get your mind out of the gutter.
