More Texas: Ash gets medical redshirt | AD: Focus not on A&M

The Oklahoman alerted the world Tuesday to the existence of a groundbreaking, possibly market-redefining new product: a set of designer "signature scents" meant to invoke nothing less than the floral grandeur of the University of Texas .

From the Masik Collegiate Fragrances description of the University of Texas Men's Cologne and Women's Perfume:

A signature scent exclusively created to capture the essence of The University of Texas. The Spirited Passion of the Hook ‘em Horns, The Dramatic Beauty of the UT Tower bathed in Burnt Orange and The Immense Devotion to the Longhorns Spirit. Passionate, Triumphant and Strong.

We're sure the last word of that paragraph is a total coincidence. Here's a remarkable graphic to help give you an idea of what the scents actually smell like:

What, no Bevo?

If you're the cologne- or perfume-inclined sort and not a Longhorn fan, fear not: the Texas scent is only the latest in a line of college-inspired fragrances from Masik, including the likes of Alabama, Kentucky, Florida State, Penn State, etc.

The only problem: there's no jesting reference to corn dogs or stadium turf on the LSU page, and that is a shame.
