USC wide receiver George Farmer has dealt with injuries during his first two years with the Trojans, and it looks like the 2013 season won't be any different.

Farmer suffered an injury to his left knee during practice on Tuesday.

After catching a pass during drills with no defenders around him Farmer fell to the ground clutching his left knee. He was then attended to by trainers before being carted off the field.

Farmer is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Wednesday.

Farmer was one of the prizes in USC's 2011 recruiting class, along with fellow receiver and high school teammate Marqise Lee (both were high school teammates of former USC receiver Robert Woods as well). He had been competing to be the Trojans third receiver in 2013.

In his first two seasons with the Trojans Farmer has caught only five passes for a total of 49 yards and no touchdowns.
