VIDEO: Angry BYU fans hurl trash at Pac-12 officials after Utah loss
The same Pac-12 officials that were on hand for Arizona State-Wisconsin did not receive a warm goodbye from the fans at BYU after the loss to Utah.
Several difficult calls went against the Cougars as Taysom Hill tried to rally the team back from a 20-6 fourth quarter deficit, leading to an unhappy collection of fans after the game. As the Pac-12 officiating crew left the field, they were greeted with pretty much anything that fans could find to toss.
Greg Wrubell, BYU football play-by-play announcer, pointed out that the Pac-12 officiating crew assigned to the game was the same group -- crew led by referee Jack Folliard -- that was reprimanded by the Pac-12 for their handling of the Arizona State-Wisconsin finish.
Eish. Not a great week for this Pac-12 officiating crew.
