VIDEO: Georgia releases 'Dawg Bite' as its new anthem
Georgia has a new anthem called 'Dawg Bite,' and it's done by Mark Richt's son, David Richt.
Some people wish for world peace, or an end to world hunger. I wish college football teams and fans would stop producing music videos. Those looking for world peace likely will get their wish before I do.
The latest video is Georgia's Dawg Bite, which features all your typical college football anthem video staples. The auto-tune, the bad lip-synching, it's all there. What is special about Georgia's video is that I believe this is the first anthem to be performed by the son of the team's head coach, as it's David Richt behind the song.
The obligatory comment about Mark Richt losing control of his son goes here.
The good news is that although this song and video might not be to my taste, it did provide us with the chance to make this.
And for that I'll be forever grateful.
