The first rule of spring-game football is don't take anything you see in a spring game too seriously. The second rule of spring-game football is that there are no rules in spring-game football.

Which is the only reason why anybody is claiming that South Carolina's Jadeveon Clowney caught a touchdown pass during the Gamecocks' spring game on Saturday.

See, in a real game, Clowney would have been ruled down. But not in the spring. Of course, if I'm a referee, I'm just letting Clowney do whatever the hell he wants, anyway. He's not a guy you want upset with you.
