VIDEO: Tommy Tuberville, Cincinnati coaches run sprints at practice
Tommy Tuberville and the entire Cincinnati coaching staff ran sprints at practice this week as punishment for a messy locker room.
Cincinnati coach Tommy Tuberville and his fellow coaches decided flip the script on the Bearcats players in a lightheared video called, "Role Reversal." Tuberville criticized the cleanliness of the dressing room after Tuesday's practice, but instead of making the players run sprints -- it was the coaches.
Check out the video below, which includes some player reactions after the run.
The Bearcats have been quietly taking care of business, improving to 7-2 with a win against SMU last week. Cincinnati does not play UCF this season, but if the Knights lose one of their final conference games the Bearcats will be in the hunt to earn a share of yet another conference title -- it would be the program's fifth in six years.
Cincinnati plays at Rutgers on Saturday; a game that oddsmakers believe could go either way.
