VIDEO: UCLA LB Myles Jack scores on 66-yd TD run
UCLA's Myles Jack is playing both ways against Arizona, and doing it spectacularly.
Dear America, hi, we know it's late, but ... have you heard about Myles Jack? Myles Jack is a true freshman linebacker for UCLA , and not just any true freshman linebacker; he was third on the team in tackles entering Saturday's game against Arizona and well on his way to Freshman All-American honors.
But as of the Arizona game, Myles is also a true freshman running back for UCLA. But is he half as good carrying the ball as he is at stopping ball-carriers? Let's ask the Wildcats after this second-half run on 3rd-and-2:
After that run, Myles's stat line read: 6 carries, 120 rushing yards, 1 touchdown on offense; 7 tackles, 1 tackle-for-loss, 1 fumble recovery on defense. (He would finish with one additional tackle.)
No word yet on whether Jack is also a certified public accountant, or an accomplished alpinist, or the sous chef at a five-star L.A. restaurant when he's not playing for the Bruins. But we're not putting any of that past him. And did we mention he's a true freshman?
