UCLA's Myles Jack is playing both ways against Arizona, and doing it spectacularly.
Dear America, hi, we know it's late, but ... have you heard about Myles Jack? Myles Jack is a true freshman linebacker for UCLA , and not just any true freshman linebacker; he was third on the team in tackles entering Saturday's game against Arizona and well on his way to Freshman All-American honors.
But as of the Arizona game, Myles is also a true freshman running back for UCLA. But is he half as good carrying the ball as he is at stopping ball-carriers? Let's ask the Wildcats after this second-half run on 3rd-and-2:
After that run, Myles's stat line read: 6 carries, 120 rushing yards, 1 touchdown on offense; 7 tackles, 1 tackle-for-loss, 1 fumble recovery on defense. (He would finish with one additional tackle.)
No word yet on whether Jack is also a certified public accountant, or an accomplished alpinist, or the sous chef at a five-star L.A. restaurant when he's not playing for the Bruins. But we're not putting any of that past him. And did we mention he's a true freshman?
