Week 13 Rewind Podcast: Coaching Carousel hysteria sets in
Tom Fornelli joins Chip Patterson to review Week 13 trying to focus on on-field success, not off-field drama tied to coaching changes.

You can't avoid them, no matter how hard you try -- the coaching rumors, they are everywhere. Embedded within the five dismissals of Sunday, and the rumored candidates who accompany those openings, was a great weekend of rivalry football. Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, and Vanderbilt made a clean sweep of the ACC, and Ohio State finished off its undefeated and untied regular season with a hard-fought win against Michigan in Columbus.
But the stars of the weekend were in Los Angeles. Notre Dame appropriately finished its 12-0 regular season with a goal-line stand against USC, booking its ticket to South Beach to contend for the BCS national title game. Tom and I take a look back at a memorable season for the Irish, as well as Stanford, Florida and the rest of the top teams that wrapped up regular-season play on Saturday.
But the hysteria of silly season sets in several times in this edition of our weekly review podcast. If that kind of thing is not your bag, we apologize. It really isn't ours either, but like any high-stakes gossip the chatter is impossible to avoid. (NOTE: We're also really tired of silly rumors, so do not take any wild suggestions from this podcast as anything remotely close to truth.)
