Update: Though Alex Hornibrook will be available, Bart Houston has been announced as Wisconsin's starting quarterback for the game. Houston started the first three games of the season before being replaced by Hornibrook, though he has seen action in each of the last six contests.

Wisconsin quarterback Alex Hornibrook is officially listed as questionable for Saturday night's Big Ten Championship Game against Penn State, but a status update from cach Paul Chryst suggests he'll have a chance to play.
"Each day this week he's progressed, so I think he'll be available to play," Chryst told ESPN's Sam Ponder during a hit for College GameDay.
Hornibrook suffered a head injury last week against Minnesota and was replaced by fifth-year senior Bart Houston. The redshirt freshman has rotated possessions with Houston during the last six games after taking over the starting job in the middle of the season. Wisconsin posted a hype video for the game that showed both quarterbacks taking snaps during Friday's practice.

Hornibrook's availability does not drastically change the expectations for a tight game between Wisconsin and Penn State. The big storyline going into Saturday night for both teams is whether a conference championship can boost the winner into the College Football Playoff. As it stands, Ohio State is the only Big Ten team projected to finish in the top four of Sunday's final rankings.
