Sixers' Thaddeus Young (hamstring) out three weeks
The Philadelphia 76ers are hoping to get Andrew Bynum back in a couple of weeks. And maybe with him, they'll get recently injured Thaddeus Young back too.
The Sixers announced Tuesday that Young will miss about three weeks because of a grade one hamstring strain.
One of the biggest disappointments of the season, the 76ers sit 21-26 and are running out of time to make a push to the East's eight seed. They're three games behind a surging Celticsand will be shorthanded for a few weeks.
Young, 24, is averaging 14.9 points and 7.4 rebounds in 47 appearances, all starts. Without him, the Sixers will likely start Spencer Hawes at power forward.
