Nebraska seals deal with Colorado State's Tim Miles

Nebraska has hiredColorado State coach Tim Miles.

According to a source close to the situation, Miles accepted the job on Friday afternoon after touring the campus with athletic director Tom Osborne.

Miles agreed to a seven-year deal worth $1.4 million per season and will be introduced at a news conference at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday in Lincoln.

Miles, 45, led the Rams to a 20-12 mark and an NCAA tournament appearance this past season -- the first for the school since 2003. Previously, he was at North Dakota State. Miles has a 71-88 mark in five seasons at Colorado State.

Miles nearly doubled his pay from $750,000 this coming season.He takes over a Nebraska program that was 12-18 this past season and 4-14 in its first year in the Big Ten. Doc Sadler was let go after six years and a 101-89 mark and three NIT's.
