Coach K is well compensated
No wonder Mike Krzyzewski announced that these Olympics will probably be his last.
It's not like the guy needs a second job anymore.
He's getting by just fine.
Krzyzewski received more than $7.2 million in compensation during the 2010 calendar year, according to a federal tax return Duke University filed that was obtained by USA TODAY. The amount is the second greatest single-year compensation total for a college coach since USA TODAY started tracking football and men's basketball coaches' compensation in 2006. Only Louisville's Rick Pitino has made more in a single year.
