Vermont star guard Four McGlynn transferring to Towson

By Jeff Borzello | College Basketball Writer

Last offseason, Towson made major moves in the transfer department, picking up Jerelle Benimon from Georgetown and Mike Burwell from South Florida. With both expected to start this season, coach Pat Skerry decided to dip into the transfer pool again.

On Saturday afternoon, a source informed CBSSports.com that Vermont transfer Four McGlynn is headed to Towson.

McGlynn chose the Tigers over Duquesne, VCU, Central Connecticut, La Salle and Penn State. He received his release from the Catamounts earlier this week.

The 6-foot-2 guard from York, Pa. was the America East Rookie of the Year last season, averaging 12.0 points and shooting 38.0 percent from 3-point range. He also knocked down a team-high 68 3-pointers.
