VIDEO: Alabama sinks half-court shot at buzzer to beat Georgia
Alabama's faint at-large hopes got the strongest -- or at least the most dramatic -- boost possible by way of Trevor Releford's beautiful prayer above.
After giving up a 17-point lead and threatening to gack away any real hope of pilfering one of the final at-larges, Alabama's Releford redeemed himself following a turnover by hitting a game-winner. It's the best shot of March so far in D-I hoops.
Hold on, I'm watching this. For a third time. Yes, swish goes the dynamite, and the Crimson Tide just barely roll past Georgia at home. Now Anthony Grant's team is 20-11 heading into next week's SEC tournament in Nashville.
If ever there was a way to turn toward a conference tournament with a bigger boom than this, I've not seen it.
