Let's look at the matchups.
Michigan State (1) vs. Wisconsin (4): The Spartans and Badgers have already played twice this season, and Michigan State won both games. One was by double-digits. The other, at the Kohl Center, was by three points in overtime. So give the edge to Michigan State in this one ... unless, of course, Wisconsin's Rob Wilson goes for 30 again. If that happens, the Spartans might be in trouble.
Michigan (2) vs. Ohio State (3): Trey Burke is from Columbus but wasn't recruited by Ohio State, and that came back to haunt the Buckeyes when the freshman guard got 17 points against them to beat them last month. Will it haunt them again Saturday? I couldn't say for sure. But I just watched Burke drop 30 on Minnesota in the Big Ten quarterfinals, and if he gets going like that again the Buckeyes could lose this matchup between schools that shared part of this season's Big Ten title.
