A week ago, we looked ahead to the Field of 68 and put out a preview based on 5/7/5 syllabic poetic patterns, known as Haiku.

So let's do it again with the eight games slated for Thursday and Friday. Take in all the analysis you'd like, but the fact is, you can boil the essence of these teams and games down to 17 syllables. Here's the basic DNA of what you need to know about the Sweet 16.

Kentucky vs. Indiana: Watford's shot went in / Everything changed for IU / Not the same UK

Baylor vs. Xavier: X wins Tu again / This isn't about the fight / Good thing; Bears are soft

Michigan State vs. Louisville: Oh, the coaches here / Izzo chasing seventh Four / 'Ville this year's UConn?

Marquette vs. Florida: Best Sweet 16 game / Buzz: West's only Four-less coach / UF now dark horse

Syracuse vs. Wisconsin: All Cuse, all drama / Is Jim Boeheim having fun? / By the way: Hi, Bo

Ohio State vs. Cincinnati: A river of hate / Love when the bracket does this / Fans are rewarded

North Carolina vs. Ohio: This game is so Groce / Heels get a break with Bobcats / Rest your wrist, Kendall

Kansas vs. North Carolina State: Kansas has new life / Pack fans in love with Gottfried / Feeling a tight one
