Source: Weber State's Damian Lillard to enter NBA Draft

ATLANTA -- Weber State's Damian Lillard has decided to forgo his senior season and enter the 2012 NBA Draft, multiple sources told on Friday.

A formal announcement is expected at a later date.

Lillard averaged 24.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game this season while leading the Wildcats to 25 victories. projects the 6-foot-3 point guard as the 13th overall pick, meaning the Oakland native has gone from a lightly recruited high school prospect to a probable lottery pick.

Lillard is the first high-profile underclassman point guard to declare for June's draft. Among the others who might are Michigan's Trey Burke, Murray State's Isaiah Canaan and North Carolina's Kendall Marshall.
