N.C. A&T hires former MEAC coach Cy Alexander

N.C. A&T is bringing Cy Alexander back to the MEAC.

Alexander, 58, was fired at in 2009 after six years and a 67-107 record. The Winston-Salem native spent 16 seasons in the MEAC with South Carolina State -- from 1987 to 2003 -- and went to five NCAA tournaments.

He is 344-306 overall in his career.

Alexander takes over an Aggies team that was 12-20 this past season and 7-9 in league play.
