Tulsa transfer Jordan Clarkson headed to Missouri

By Jeff Goodman | College Basketball Insider

Tulsa guard Jordan Clarkson is transferring to Missouri.

Clarkson, who averaged 16.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists this past season as a sophomore, told CBSSports he committed to Frank Haith and the Tigers on Monday.

"I'm comfortable with Coach Haith and the team," Clarkson said. "Coach Haith's had a lot of success with transfers, and it just felt like the right place for me."

Clarkson, who was given his release following the coaching change in which Danny Manning replaced Doug Wojcik, was also looking at UCLA and Illinois.

Haith has quickly reloaded at Missouri via transfers.

This season the Tigers will add Alex Oriakhi (UConn), Jabari Brown (Oregon), Keion Bell (Pepperdine) and Earnest Ross (Auburn).
