USC big man Oraby cleared; Oregon's Kazemi next?

By Jeff Goodman | College Basketball Insider

USC 7-foot-2 Egyptian Omar Oraby has been cleared to play this season and will suit up tomorrow night for Kevin O'Neill and the Trojans, sources told CBSSports.com.

That means, in all likelihood, fellow Rice transfer Arsalan Kazemi will also receive a waiver and be able to play immediately.

Oraby averaged just six points and 3.6 rebounds last season for Ben Braun and the Owls, but several NBA scouts who have seen him in practice have said he could be drafted in June's NBA Draft.
