Four Hofstra basketball players were arrested Friday morning on various counts of burglary, the school announced.

Shaquille Stokes, Jimmy Hall, Kentrell Washington and Dallas Anglin are scheduled for arraignment Friday, Newsday reported. According to the paper, Stokes is charged with five counts of second-degree burglary, Hall with four counts, Washington with two counts and Anglin with one count.

“The four students have been immediately suspended from the University, including the basketball team, classes, residence hall and facilities, pending the outcome of the case,” school spokesman Steven Gorchov said in a statement.

Hofstra is 3-4 so far this season, with wins over South Dakota State and Marshall. Stokes transferred from Hawaii before the season, and is averaging 10.0 points and 2.6 assists. Hall has been one of the best freshmen in the country, putting up 12.7 points and 9.4 rebounds. Anglin and Washington are also key players of the Pride's rotation.

Hofstra faces Larry Brown and SMU on Saturday.
