Utah State's Danny Berger collapses during practice

Utah State junior Danny Berger collapsed during practice and was flown to a local hospital, ABC 4 News reported Tuesday evening.

According to the report, Berger stopped breathing, but was revived.

The school released a statement late Tuesday night.

Utah State men's basketball student-athlete Danny Berger had a serious medical situation during practice Tuesday afternoon and was transported to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.

Berger was tended to on the court by the USU Athletic Training staff, CPR was performed and the AED was used on him until ambulance personnel arrived. Berger is currently in stable, but critical condition. Tests and evaluations are ongoing, and further information will be released when available.

Berger is averaging 7.6 points and 3.6 rebounds this season for the Aggies.
