Duke's Ryan Kelly and Missouri's Laurence Bowers will both have tests tomorrow to see the extent of leg injuries suffered during Tuesday night's games.
Kelly, who entered the game averaging 13.5 points and 5.4 rebounds, injured his right foot while driving to the basket late in the first half in a win over Clemson and didn't return to the game. Duke spokesman Matt Plizga told CBSSports.com that the 6-foot-11 senior will have tests on Wednesday to determine the severity of the injury.
If Kelly is out of the lineup, look for Coach K to give veteran Josh Hairston or freshmen Amile Jefferson extended minutes. However, it would impact the spacing on the court for the Blue Devils -- as Kelly is shooting 50 percent from deep this season.
The 6-foot-8 Bowers missed all of last season with a torn ACL and was averaging 16.8 points and seven rebounds per game this season. He had scored 16 points in Tuesday night's win over Alabama and left the court in the second half.
Bowers is also expected to have an MRI tomorrow, and Missouri coach Frank Haith told CBSSports.com that it appears to be a sprained MCL.
"It could be a couple weeks," Haith said. "It just depends how severe the sprain is. We'll know tomorrow how long he'll be out."
