We're so eager to get to this year's NCAA tournament because it's the 75th time the best sporting event in America will take place. And we've already started the anniversary party by giving you some of our favorite tourney memories.
The commemoration was kicked off in earnest by the NCAA in December, when a committee selected the best players and best teams in the history of the tournament. And now all that voting and all those results are below, in infographic form. It's beautiful. I want it framed and displayed in my living room.
The design was a brainstorm-come-to-life from a graphic arts specialist, Sean Revell, who gave us permission to publish and share it with you. If you'd like to see a larger version, head over here to get a magnified look.
Or, just scroll and learn. Just looking at this thing makes me wish the Round of 64 was starting in 10 seconds.
Revell saw the NCAA's list and simply wanted to offer up a different way to see the best of what the tourney has to offer. We're all richer for it. Seriously, how sweet is that thing?
In regard to upcoming March Madness 75 lookbacks, here's what's to come on the TV side of things. Plenty of good stuff ahead. Then, eventually, the Big Dance. It'll be here before we know it.
