Following an alleged armed robbery near its campus Wednesday morning, Ohio University has been shut down for the remainder of the day, the school has announced. The alleged armed gunman is still on the loose. Because of that, the scheduled home tip for Ohio-Eastern Michiganhas been rescheduled for Feb. 20 at 7 p.m.
The reported robbery, via Ohio's student newspaper, was over a whopping $5.
The two teams will seek to make up the game, but Ohio officials told CBSSports.com on Wednesday afternoon that those details won't be decided for some time.
Led by a player on the verge of a most unique NCAA record, Ohio is tied atop the MAC East standings at 6-0 with Akron and is 15-5 overall. EMU is 3-3 in the MAC West and 10-10 overall.
