GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Kentucky freshman Nerlens Noel suffered a knee injury midway through the second half and was taken to a local hospital.
"We don't know yet," Wildcats coach John Calipari said after the game.

"I'm physically sick right now for him," he added. "I'm hoping it's some sort of twist, but we don't know."
The 6-foot-10 Noel came into the game averaging 10.6 points, 9.6 rebounds and 4.5 blocks per game. He had eight points and six points in the loss to Kentucky before suffering the knee injury.
The injury occurred with eight minutes remaining. Noel landed awkwardly on hie left leg after blocking Mike Rosario's shot. He fell to the floor and was screaming in pain. After a few minutes on the court, he was helped into the tunnel by teammates Julius Mays and Archie Goodwin.
"He didn't say anything," Mays said.
Noel has been Kentucky's best player this season. He's arguably the top interior defender in the country -- and his offense has improved steadily throughout the season.
