Day One of mock selection committee is in the books

INDIANAPOLIS -- It wasn't until seven or so hours into the first day of participating in the NCAA mock selection committee that we really started to see some debate throughout the group. There were a few disagreements here and there, but nothing much.

When Indiana and Miami were placed side-by-side, and then Michigan State and Florida, we finally began some serious arguing between "committee members." Once Michigan State slid ahead of Florida as the final No. 1 seed, the day was officially over. And this is what we have so far:

At-larges: 35 of 37 (some of these will move into automatic qualifier positions)

Automatic Qualifiers: 14 of 31 (other conference tourneys are not done yet)
Seed List: 12 of 68

  6. Michigan
