This wasn't the way that James Madison wanted to start its first NCAA tournament trip since 1994.
Shortly after the field was released on Sunday evening, James Madison beat writer Mark Selig reported that forward Rayshawn Goins was arrested.

Sheriff said that Goins has been "cooperative at this point" and expects that he will not be held in jail overnight for the misdemeanors.— Mark Selig (@MarkRSelig) March 18, 2013
According to Selig, James Madison released an official statement:
“The athletic administration is aware of the situation,” the school said. “We will not be providing any additional comments until we review this matter in the morning.”
James Madison opens up on Wednesday against LIU-Brooklyn as part of the First Four in Dayton. The Dukes won the CAA tournament by upsetting Delaware and Northeastern last weekend.
Goins, a 6-foot-6 senior from Cleveland, averaged 12.7 points and 7.4 rebounds this season for the Dukes, leading the team in scoring and rebounding. He had 14 points and 13 rebounds in the championship game win over Northeastern
