Chattanooga fires John Shulman

By Jeff Goodman | College Basketball Insider

Chattanooga coach John Shulman has been fired, sources confirmed to CBSSports.com.

Shulman was 145-146 in nine seasons. The Mocs were 13-19 this season, and haven't had a winning record since 2009, when they went to the NCAA tournament.

Chattanooga also went to the NCAA tourney in 2005 - his first season at the helm.

The school is expected to hire a new athletic director before making a decision on a new men's basketball coach.
