North Carolina State's C.J. Leslie is expected to forgo his senior season and enter the NBA Draft, sources confirmed to

This news comes only a short time after Jeff Goodman reported that junior guard Lorenzo Brown also would skip his final year in Raleigh to enter the draft.

Leslie, a 6-foot-9 forward, averaged 15.1 points and 7.4 rebounds this past season for NC State. He came into the season as the preseason ACC Player of the Year, but was inconsistent at different points throughout the year. In Goodman's latest mock draft, Leslie is projected at No. 50 -- late in the second round.

It could be a difficult season next year for NC State, which already was planning to lose seniors Richard Howell and Scott Wood. With Brown and Leslie also ending their careers, only three players who saw extended minutes will be back in Raleigh. Head coach Mark Gottfried does welcome LSU transfer Ralston Turner and a very solid freshman trio of Cat Barber, BeeJay Anya and Kyle Washington.

NC State ended its season with a Round of 64 loss to Temple.
