Drake will hire Gonzaga assistant Giacoletti

Ray Giacoletti will replace Mark Phelps at Drake, sources told CBSSports.com.

Giacoletti has been on Mark Few's staff at Gonzaga since 2007. He was the head coach for three seasons at Utah and took the Utes to the Sweet 16 in 2005. He was also the head man at both North Dakota State and Eastern Washington.

Giacoletti will replace Phelps, who was 77-86 overall in five seasons. Drake finished 15-17 this past season.
