After two years with the Terps, big man Alex Len will be moving on to the NBA.

The 7-foot-1 center out of the Ukraine will forgo the remainder of his college eligibility, according to Yahoo Sports, which broke the news on Sunday night. Len was at certain points this past season considered in the conversation for the No. 1 overall pick. At worst, he's now a top-10 prospect.

Len had an uptick in performance this past season at Maryland, though he and the Terps failed to make the NCAA tournament. Len averaged 11.9 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks in 2012-13. Yahoo Sports has a source stating Len will make his decision official this week.

Len is one of a growing number of underclassmen who've passed up staying in college for a chance to play in the NBA. Here's the as-of-now entire list of early entries.
