VCU picks up Florida State transfer Terrance Shannon

By Jeff Goodman | College Basketball Insider

VCU has picked up Florida State transfer Terrance Shannon, a source told CBSSports.com.

The 6-foot-8 forward, who has dealt with multiple injuries throughout his college career, will be able to play for Shaka Smart this season.

Shannon averaged 7.9 points and 5.6 rebounds last season for the Seminoles. He will give Smart a boost to go along with key returnees Juvonte Reddic, Treveon Graham, Briante Weber and Rob Brandenberg. Look for Graham to see more action on the wing with the addition of Shannon, who also considered Xavier.
